There is no need to leave this year’s St. Patty’s Day plans to the luck of the Irish. Benicia has the right pubs, eateries, shops and entertainment to make it a crawl to remember. You must be 21 years or older to play, but your friends will be green with glee when you clue them in on the details.

During the day

Grab your comfy shoes and best green gear for an afternoon of craft beer tasting. A week before the usual emerald day, Saturday, March 10 from 1-5 p.m., Benicia Main Street is hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day Beer Crawl. Tickets are just $25 in advance and $35 the day of the event. You can taste at more than 15 businesses downtown. What’s fun about this particular party is that guests “crawl” from place to place, mingling with locals and checking out all of the great shops and stops along First Street. It’s a great way to get to know downtown Benicia. For more information, a full list of participating businesses and to buy tickets, visit beniciamainstreet.org/st-pats-day-beer-crawl-2018.

Check-in starts at 12:30 p.m. at Benicia Main Street, located at 90 First Street.
