Christmas Tree Lot

November 23 @ 10:00 am - December 23 @ 7:00 pm

Start or continue a holiday tradition with a Christmas tree from the lot at the Benicia Historical Museum. Decorate your home or workplace with a beautiful, sustainably-farmed, Noble, Douglas, or Nordmann Fir tree – all while supporting Genesis House and the museum. They say their selection of species and sizes are superior to most “big box” store trees.

Children and grandchildren have the opportunity to send a letter to Santa via Cally, the museum’s carousel camel, who comes to life after midnight to deliver letters to Santa’s North Pole workshop. During the day, Cally positions herself in front of the Museum Christmas tree, which is hung with dozens of camel ornaments!

With plenty of parking, pleasant assistants to help in choosing your tree and securing it for the ride home (or providing home delivery!), plus candy canes, coloring pages and free Museum passes to all who purchase, this is your best bet for an enjoyable tree-buying experience! The lot is open daily November 23-December 23, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., while supplies last.
