First Street merchants along with Benicia Main Street and the City of Benicia host this ever-popular open house at the beginning of the Christmas Season. First Street is closed to traffic allowing revelers to visit merchants offering beverages and treats and showing off their holiday goods while costumed carolers sing traditional Christmas tunes. Live entertainment, wagon rides, and the Christmas Tree lighting add a festive atmosphere to this family event.
