Arts Benicia kicks their 33rd year with an exhibition that underscores their mission: their Art of a Community members-only exhibition. The exhibition is a testament to the talent of Benicia's artist community! The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday, January 25, 4 - 6 p.m., followed by a Family Art Day related to the exhibition on Sunday, February 2, 1-3 p.m. Stop by and check it out! “Lee Wilder Snider: A Retrospective” will be on display in the Marilyn Citron O'Rourke Art Gallery at Benicia Public Library from January 14 - February 13. Lee is a local artist known for her amazing landscape works. An artist's reception will be held at the library on Jan 26, 2-5 pm. Join the artist, friends and fellow Benicians to enjoy refreshments and view Lee’s work; much of which will be on loan from local collectors.

The Benicia Chamber Players invite you to their first concert of 2020, which features some of the Bay Area’s top classical musicians:Violinists Nigel Armstrong and Jooyeon Kong, violist Christina Simpson and cellist Brady Anderson. They will perform string quartets by Haydn, Shaw, Webern, and Beethoven. This concert marks the third or five concerts in the 2019-2020 season. The next concerts will be on March 15 and May 3.
