Stop by , Once Upon a Canvas on September 12 from 1-3:30PM to see artist Jessica Robinson showcase a free sculpture demo. Located outside of the Tannery building, this event will be safe and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

From September 4 - September 27, , Robert Nelson’s art will be featured at , Gallery 621 . Nelson’s work involves primarily recycled materials assembled into whimsical Assemblage Sculptures. Driven by his sense of community, the hidden message in Nelson’s work is: Let’s do a better job reducing trash and how we dispose of it. Come check out his creations during the month of September.

Description of Obliterants: OBLITERANTS mocks, overwrites and finally reconciles the conflicts of emergence and dominance; of passing-by or seeing; embracing or missing the point of the urban stain that is the cesspool around the lotus which foments a beauty for all that. Abstracted / discordant / mutated. Giclee prints on aluminum and rag paper. Graffiti meets a visual ballet.

The , HQ Gallery is expanding its hours to Thursday through Sunday 12-6 pm, starting September 3rd, with its new show “ Say Yes to Art ” showcasing the work of 18 artists, including painting, watercolor, photography, digital art, ceramics, needle art and mixed media with found objects.
HQ is proud to welcome local watercolorist , Samantha McNally as their newest gallery member. Samantha has exhibited and won awards in many Bay Area galleries and competitions. She enjoys painting both in the studio and outdoors ‘en pleinair.’
Also new to the gallery is the Petite Pieces Collection, a display of smaller artworks, and a section of unframed art by several of the member artists.
